Al-Zahraa University for Women participated in an expanded meeting convened by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the leadership and representatives of Iraq’s private universities and faculties. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahad, Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Lubna Khamees Mahdi, Director General of the Department of Research and Development at the Ministry. Besides, it was held in the Main Hall of Al-Nahrain University on Thursday, 18 May 2023.
Representing Al-Zahraa University for Women were Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Al-Asadi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ali Mahdi Al-Husseini, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department.
The meeting addressed a range of proposals and recommendations aimed primarily at advancing scientific research across Iraq’s private universities and faculties.
