About the Division

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the College of Engineering and Information Technology represents a vital pillar responsible for promoting a culture of comprehensive quality. The division works on monitoring and evaluating academic and administrative performance, and ensuring the implementation of the highest standards of quality and accreditation in alignment with the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This aims to guarantee high-quality engineering and technological outputs that meet the evolving demands of the labor market.

We are committed to developing curricula and specialized laboratories to empower students and graduates to compete effectively in the labor market, and to provide engineering and software solutions that serve society in accordance with national and international quality standards.

Objectives

• Promoting Quality Culture: Enhancing awareness of quality assurance and university performance concepts among all college members, including faculty, administrative staff, and students.
• Academic Accreditation: Preparing and continuously striving to meet national accreditation requirements and paving the way for adopting international standards such as ABET.
• Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Conducting periodic and continuous evaluations of academic and institutional performance and utilizing the results in development plans.
• Laboratory Quality: Monitoring laboratory quality and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards (GLP).
• Development and Training: Enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative staff through specialized workshops and training programs.
• Database Development: Establishing an information system to document all academic and administrative activities.
