The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the College of Engineering and Information Technology is the vital nerve and the responsible entity for instilling a culture of comprehensive quality. The division monitors and evaluates academic and administrative performance, ensuring the application of the highest quality and accreditation standards in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research requirements, to guarantee solid engineering and technological outputs that meet the evolving needs of the labor market.

To excel and lead in implementing comprehensive quality standards and academic program and institutional accreditation, making the College of Engineering and Information Technology a model locally and regionally for engineering and technical education and scientific research.

Mission

To continuously enhance academic and administrative performance at the college by providing an excellent educational and research environment, spreading a culture of quality, and implementing continuous evaluation and monitoring systems. We are committed to developing curricula and specialized laboratories to empower students and graduates to compete strongly in the labor market and deliver engineering and software solutions that serve society according to national and international quality standards.

Goals

• Promoting Quality Culture: Raising awareness of quality assurance and university performance concepts among all college members, including teaching staff, administrative staff, and students.
• Academic Accreditation: Continuous preparation and effort to meet national academic accreditation requirements, and preparing for the implementation of international accreditation standards (such as ABET standards for engineering and technology programs) through curriculum development and periodic lab updates.
• Continuous Assessment and Improvement: Conducting periodic and ongoing evaluation of academic and institutional performance, and using the evaluation results to establish improvement and development plans.
• Laboratory Excellence: Monitoring the quality of scientific and engineering laboratories and ensuring compliance with occupational safety standards and laboratory quality specifications (GLP).
• Development and Training: Enhancing the skills of teaching and administrative staff through specialized workshops and training courses in quality and accreditation fields.
• Building Databases: Establishing an integrated information system documenting all scientific, administrative, and research activities of the college to facilitate auditing and monitoring processes.
