Overview
The Scientific Affairs Division is responsible for organizing and managing the academic and research aspects within the college. It acts as a link between the academic departments and the college deanery to ensure the proper implementation of the educational process according to approved plans.
Core Responsibilities
- Managing academic promotion affairs for faculty members and following up on their completion
- Organizing conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops within the college
- Monitoring the implementation of curricula and updating them in coordination with academic departments
- Supporting research activities and encouraging publication in reputable international journals
- Supervising the issuance of the college scientific journal and reviewing research papers
- Coordinating scientific cooperation agreements with universities and other institutions
Services Provided
- Providing faculty members with academic promotion forms and official documents and reviewing them
- Issuing official letters for participation in conferences and seminars outside the college
- Receiving and following up on research submitted for publication in the college journal
- Providing scientific statistical data of the college to higher authorities
- Providing technical support for faculty members regarding Scopus and Google Scholar platforms
