Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, welcomed Al-Hajj Hassan Rasheed Al-Abayechi, Secretary-General of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, during his visit to the University to inaugurate the Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Centre, Al-Aqeela Hall for meetings, and the project to expand the University’s newly developed green spaces.

The visit included an extended meeting with members of the University Council, during which Al-Hajj Al-Abayechi reviewed the University’s most significant scientific and infrastructure achievements. Prof. Dr. Al-Sultani further highlighted the University’s achievement in establishing a specialised research centre for medical and pharmaceutical sciences, which is the first of its kind in the governorate.

The visit concluded with a tour of the University’s campus conducted by Al-Hajj Al-Abayechi alongside Prof. Dr. Al-Sultani. The tour included the registration teams assisting female students applying to study at the University. He also met with several female students accompanied by their families to ensure the smooth progress of the registration process and praised the efforts made to facilitate student registration at the University.
