Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, presented the Sanctuary of Fátima in Portugal with a historical book on Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her), translated into English, Spanish, and French. Furthermore, the said event comes as part and parcel of efforts to promote the values of Islamic culture and noble human principles, enrich the cultural and intellectual life of European societies with the thought and heritage of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), encourage educational institutions to promote awareness of authentic Islamic culture in the West, and articulate the principles and values embodied by Lady Al-Zahraa (PBUH).

The book documents the virtues and distinguished qualities of Lady Al-Zahraa (PBUH), highlighting the highest ideals of education and noble character that contributed significantly to social reform and provided a roadmap for every moderate individual who represents the values of humanity. The book is intended to be displayed in the museum dedicated to Lady Fatima at the Sanctuary in Portugal.

In return, the Director of the Sanctuary of Fátima presented Prof. Dr. Al-Sultani with a book recounting the story of the apparition of Lady Fatima in Portugal, including the recollections of the child “Lucy” and the story of her encounter with Lady Fatima.

It is worth noting that the University has reached an agreement with the Director of the Sanctuary to establish research, cultural, historical, and civilisational partnerships aimed at promoting Islamic culture within Western societies.
