Under the auspices and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, cultural and poetry sessions were held on the sidelines of the First International Al-Athar Al-Arabi Conference on Enriching Theoretical and Applied Sciences. The conference was organised by the Faculty of Education in cooperation with the University of Mosul and the University of Milan, Italy.

The cultural and poetry sessions were presented by Dr. Haider 'Aidan. The cultural evening featured a lecture by historian S'eed Zamizam, while the poetry evening featured Prof. Dr. Khudair Darwish. Additionally, the said events were held in the City of the Master of the Martyrs on Sunday, 28 October 2023.

The evenings explored the history of the holy city of Karbala, highlighting its most prominent figures and notable kings who had the honour of visiting the city. The programme also featured poetry dedicated to the holy city.
