A delegation from Al-Zahraa University for Women, headed by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of the University, visited the University of Fallujah on Tuesday, 24 October 2023. Additionally, the said event comes in line with Al-Zahraa University for Women’s commitment to expanding scientific and academic cooperation with Iraqi universities and exchanging academic expertise.

The delegation was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Al-Asadi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs; Prof. Dr. Noor Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies; and Prof. Dr. Ali J'afar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Al-Muhammadi, President of the University of Fallujah, along with a slew of members of the University Council.

The delegation toured the University of Fallujah’s facilities, lecture halls and scientific laboratories. Furthermore, the discussions focused on mechanisms for academic cooperation between the two universities, culminating in the signing of a joint scientific cooperation agreement.

The agreement includes several provisions, including the exchange of scientific, educational and cultural expertise between the two universities; the formation of joint research teams among academics in corresponding specialisations; and the organisation of joint conferences, seminars and workshops. It also provides for the participation of academic staff holding various academic titles from both universities to enrich and further develop the educational process.
