Under the slogan “From Aspiration to Reality: Partners in Shaping the Future,” Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, through the Pioneers Foundation for Development and Media, launched the First Strategic Leadership Forum
in the city of Najaf Al-Ashraf on Thursday, 25 May 2023. The forum was held over the course of three days.

The opening ceremony was held under the generous auspices of His Eminence Al-Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbala'i, the Legitimate Overseer of the Affairs of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, and was attended by Al-Hajj Hassan Rashid Al-Abayechi, Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, Dr. Haider Al-Shammari, President of the Shi’a Endowment office, alongside a large number of senior Iraqi leaders and distinguished figures from several Arab countries.

Representing Al-Zahraa University for Women at the forum was Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Al-Asadi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs.

The forum aims to develop visionary leaders capable of managing institutions in accordance with modern strategic approaches that keep pace with the unprecedented advances in technical and technological innovation, as well as artificial intelligence.

It is significant to point out that the forum also features a series of specialised sessions, workshops, and lectures addressing key issues, concepts, and strategic frameworks aligned with its central theme.
