Al-Zahraa University for Women, represented by its President and esteemed University Council, welcomed Prof. Dr. Muzahim Qasim Al-Khayyat, Chair of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, Dr. Yaseen Al-'Ameri, Deputy Chair of the Committee, and Dr. Firas Al-Musallamani, Committee Member, on Wednesday, 17 May 2023.

During the visit, the parliamentary delegation conducted an inspection tour of the University’s facilities, including lecture halls, laboratories, the Central Library, and the Conference Hall.

Throughout the tour, members of the Committee met with several female students to discuss the quality of the educational process at ZUW and to assess the availability of the resources and services necessary to support an enhanced learning experience.

The delegation was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President; Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Al-Asadi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; and Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies; in addition to a slew of academic and administrative staff members.

At the conclusion of the visit, the parliamentary delegation commended the University, its distinguished leadership, and its dedicated academic and administrative staff.
