Al-Zahraa University for Women explored prospects for cooperation and partnership with Al-Warith Academy for Sustainable Development and Strategic Studies, as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with academic and development institutions and advance programs aimed at enhancing students’ skills and developing their leadership and community engagement capabilities.

The discussions took place during a meeting between Prof. Dr. Maali Hashim Ali, Director of the Continuing Education Center and the Student Activities Department at the University, and Eng. Aqeel Kadhim Al-Sharifi, Director of Al-Warith Academy for Sustainable Development and Strategic Studies, along with a number of Academy officials.

The meeting discussed mechanisms for joint cooperation, foremost among them the establishment of a women’s scouting team at the University. The initiative aims to develop students’ skills in leadership, teamwork, discipline, and responsibility, while encouraging greater participation in cultural and community activities.

The two sides also discussed organizing a series of joint training courses, workshops, seminars, and development programs designed to enhance students’ academic, leadership, and social skills. These initiatives are intended to meet contemporary needs and help prepare students equipped with the knowledge, skills, initiative, and ability to contribute effectively to community service.
