The Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research at Al-Zahraa University for Women continues to provide research and laboratory services to researchers, supported by a range of advanced scientific equipment and modern laboratory technologies that enable specialized tests and analyses to be conducted in accordance with rigorous scientific standards.

 

The Center has witnessed a notable increase in the number of researchers seeking to conduct scientific studies and laboratory analyses, reflecting the advanced technical capabilities and specialized expertise it provides. Among the services available at the Center’s laboratories is the analysis of food and environmental samples to determine the concentrations of various elements and metals. These analyses are carried out using an atomic absorption spectrometer, which enables the precise measurement of metallic elements in different types of samples.

 

In this context, laboratory tests were conducted on samples of fish, red meat, and various parts of animal carcasses to determine the concentrations of several heavy metals and mineral elements, including lead, cadmium, zinc, and copper. The analyses were performed in accordance with approved laboratory procedures to ensure accurate sample handling and reliable results.
