The Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research at Al-Zahraa University for Women hosted a delegation from the Karbala Water Directorate, headed by Mr. Raed Adnan Hameed, Head of Quality Control at the Directorate, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation in scientific and research fields.

During the visit, the delegation toured the center’s specialized laboratories and reviewed its scientific and technical capabilities. The delegation was also briefed on the types of examinations and analyses that can be conducted, while both sides discussed mechanisms for benefiting from the expertise and resources available to each institution.

Mr. Raed Adnan Hameed noted that the visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation with academic institutions and benefit from their scientific and specialized capabilities, particularly in the areas of testing, analysis, and quality control. Such cooperation, he explained, can contribute to improving work processes and enhancing technical performance.

The two sides also discussed opportunities for future cooperation and the exchange of expertise, as well as the possibility of developing joint programs in areas of mutual interest. These efforts would strengthen integration between the university and government institutions and create broader opportunities to benefit from available scientific expertise and capabilities.
