Through the efforts and continuous follow-up of His Eminence Al-Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbala’i, Legitimate Overseer of the Affairs of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, and Prof. Dr. Sattar Al-Sa'adi, President of the Health and Medical Education Authority, and in response to the request submitted to His Excellency Prof. Dr. Naim Al-'Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, approval has been granted for the addition of 100 study seats to the Faculty of Pharmacy.

This achievement was also made possible through the dedicated follow-up of the University President and all University staff members, in response to the requests and appeals of families seeking admission to Al-Zahraa University for Women, which continues to fulfil their aspirations and provide female students with the opportunities and academic environment necessary for scientific excellence and success.
