The Department of English at the College of Education, Al-Zahraa University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “News Translation.” The workshop was presented by Asst. Lect. Safaa Abd Al_Rasool Al-Saadi, a faculty member of the department, and was held in one of the department’s halls at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
The workshop began with a brief introduction to translation, followed by a detailed explanation of the rules specific to translating news headlines. Faculty members of the department and students attended the workshop and actively participated through questions and discussions.
