The Department of Architectural Engineering at Al-Zahraa University for Women was established in (2025-2026) in response to the growing demand for specialized programs that prepare female architects capable of creativity and innovation in architectural design, planning, and project management. Since its establishment, the department has continuously developed its curriculum in line with modern academic standards, with particular focus on sustainability, climate-responsive architecture, and digital transformation in architectural practice. The department provides a supportive learning environment through design studios, specialized laboratories, and practical training, enhancing students’ abilities in critical thinking, teamwork, and the development of integrated design solutions.
