Third-year students in the Cybersecurity Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology resumed their practical lessons in Advanced Cryptography, through a lab training covering an introduction to the Linux operating system, along with hands-on experience with a range of tools related to encryption and information security. The students practised using tools that help encrypt data, ensure the integrity of files and messages, and verify their reliability, reinforcing the essential skills needed to work with information protection technologies in digital environments. This training serves as a foundation for applying these skills in later stages of the course, leading up to programming a Secure Channel, which enhances the practical aspect of studying cryptography and links academic concepts to practical applications in cybersecurity.
